    PROTECTION DURING FORESTRY WORK. Cut protection trousers with Design A (in accordance with EN 381 and EN ISO 11393) have cut protection that completely covers your front lower body. In the rear left leg area, the protection continues around the leg by 5 cm in each case. You are very well protected during forestry work with design A.

    SAFETY WITH LIGHTWEIGHT FIBRES. The very lightweight, high-tech fibres of the 6-layer cut protection ensure low weight, high breathability and excellent cold and water protection. The 6-layer cut protection is more lightweight than 9-layer material and is also highly cut-resistant.
    LIGHTWEIGHT 6-LAYER CUT PROTECTION
    FOR HIGH COMFORT. Your protective clothing should protect you, but also allow you the greatest possible freedom of movement, which is achieved with full-stretch material. The fully elastic fabric stretches in all directions for excellent comfort.
    FULL STRETCH
    FOR EXCELLENT FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT. The ProElast Stretch insert is elasticated not only at the crotch, but also at the trouser legs for particularly comfortable wear. The ProElast stretch insert in the crotch also offers flexibility if the wearer needs to get into extreme positions, facilitating a high degree of freedom of movement. To enable this, the cut protection in the crotch has not been sewn together, but is instead connected by an elastic insert.
    PRO-ELAST STRETCH INSERT
    FOR COMFORTABLE WORK. The adjustable waist width makes working more comfortable. This means that the fit of the trouser can be adapted to different body shapes and is suitable for both women and men.
    ADJUSTABLE WAIST
    WICKS HEAT AND SWEAT TO THE OUTSIDE. Its breathable material makes it comfortable to wear throughout the working day. This is because moisture is wicked to the outside, while fresh air is let in.
    BREATHABILITY
    INCREASE WORK COMFORT. Ventilation openings allow you to control the temperature inside your personal protective equipment. Simply open or close the ventilation openings as required.

    ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers - Design A, Class 1: Premium cut-protection trousers for professional chainsaw work

    The STIHL ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers (Class 1*, Design A**) are a premium choice for professional users working in forestry, arboriculture and landscaping. This newly designed trousers offer maximum comfort, robustness, breathability and excellent freedom of movement, making them the optimum choice for professional PPE from STIHL. 

    With a slim professional fit, the ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers have reduced snagging and weight, giving a more professional appearance. The lower leg of the trousers has an elasticated cuff which has a close fit to the calf, protecting from ticks, sawdust and snow and providing robust thorn and abrasion protection. The knee area is also reinforced with robust, waterproof elastic fabric. The flexible ProElast insert in the crotch area has an elasticated connection, giving greater freedom of movement. And the lightweight AVERTIC™ Pro lite+ cut-protection material is elastically bonded to the outer fabric of the trousers for greater freedom of movement. This material is developed exclusively for professional STIHL PPE. All of this makes the ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers extremely comfortable to wear and ideal for professional users throughout the entire working day.

    ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers are constructed from a highly breathable material which helps keeps the wearer cool during work. There are ventilation zips on the thigh section of the trouser which let you regulate the temperature in warmer conditions. Integrated cut-protection provides extra safety when working with your chainsaw. Kidney protection keeps you warm in cold temperatures and offers extra protection from scratches and impact to the lower back when working in difficult terrains. The inner lining and thigh material of the trousers are made from 100% recycled polyester. Plus, the trousers have a PFAS-free water repellent finish on the black areas of the trouser. 

    The trousers have large reflective silver stripes, neon green accents on the pocket and high-visibility orange areas for excellent visibility in poor light conditions. You can attach STIHL braces to the ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers thanks to the buttons and loops on the waistband. You can quickly and securely adjust the waist thanks to the Velcro adjustment – and the high proportion of elasticated material used on the trousers makes them equally suitable for both male and female wearers. Two side pockets are easily accessible, and the trousers also have a back pocket, thigh pocket and a ruler pocket – meaning there is plenty of space for gloves and other accessories. All pockets are equipped with a flat zip closure to prevent resinification of the zip teeth. 

    The ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers pair perfectly with the ADVANCE ShellTEC jacket. ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers (Class 1, Design A version) are available in both regular leg length and short leg length versions.
