    The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

    MOW AND FERTILISE IN A SINGLE STEP. The mulching function saves you having to dispose of cuttings and lets you fertilise your lawn naturally. The mulching blades shred the cut grass into small particles which are then automatically distributed evenly over the turf.

    FLEXIBLE MOWING AND MULCHING. The multi-blade allows you to mow and mulch without changing the blade. The specially shaped blades shred the cut grass. Then you decide whether the grass should be transported into the collection box via air flow, or further shredded and distributed evenly over the green area to become a nutrient-rich fertiliser.

    EASY EMPTYING. Your lawn mower is equipped with a folding grass collection box to make emptying clippings very straightforward. The fill-level indicator signals the right time for emptying. An airstream ensures dense filling while mowing, so you can make optimum use of the full volume of the box. The slats on the side of the box direct the air towards the ground, which protects you from dirt being swirled up.

    IMPROVE CONTROL. With robust and durable smooth-running wheels, you can keep track of your lawn mowing easily and effortlessly. Thanks to their traction and directional stability, these smooth-running wheels can be effortlessly manoeuvred to support careful and comfortable lawn maintenance.

    COMFORTABLE WORKING AND STORAGE. The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. As the handlebar is height-adjustable, it enables you to mow your lawn comfortably and ergonomically. You can adjust it to your preferred height without using tools. As the handlebar is also foldable, the lawn mower can be compactly stored and transported.

    With a cutting width of 53cm/21" and Vario drive, the RM 655 V petrol lawn mower is the perfect choice when it comes to maintaining large lawns up to 2500m². The Vario drive system allows you easily change the working speed of the mower without affecting the blade/engine speed, so the mower is always performing at its best. Other practical features include the central seven-setting cutting height adjustment, which is adjustable from 25 to 85 mm and ensures a precise cutting pattern. The foldable and height adjustable mono-comfort handlebar makes emptying the grass catcher box quick and easy. The 70l catcher box has a grass level indicator which tells you when the grass needs emptying so you don't overfill and block the chute. The RM 655 V petrol lawn mower is a powerful mower which will make short work of cutting your lawn. The RM 655 V comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).
